Space projects are fundamentally a team effort, built on a foundation of trust that paves the way for innovation. The receipt of the “Global Supply Chain (GSC) Northrop Grumman Supplier Excellence Award for Strategic Excellence” is a profound honor.
Dr. Reinhard Berger, Vice President Products and Programs at Jena-Optronik, accepted this award on behalf of the entire team in the frame of Northrop Grumman’s 2026 Supplier Excellence and Global Supply Chain Employee Recognition Awards ceremony in Tysons Corner near Washington D.C. USA:
“We would like to extend our gratitude to our long-standing customer and partner, Northrop Grumman, for the unwavering trust they have placed in our products and our expertise over many years. Our collaboration on countless projects has consistently been both - pioneering and successful. At the core of our work is a commitment to open communication and a clear focus on meeting our customers’ specific needs and requirements. Together, we aim to explore new horizons, meet complex technical challenges, and deliver products of the highest quality.”
Jena-Optronik’s partnership with Northrop Grumman dates back to 2002. Since then, we have successfully supplied a wide range of sensors to support numerous missions. Northrop Grumman was among the first to use these technologies upon their market introduction, and we are very proud of this long-lasting and trusting cooperation.
